Terms of service.
The rules of the road when you use Countspace. We've tried to keep it short.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Countspace (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
Countspace is a browser-based platform for creating, styling, sharing, and displaying countdown timers. We provide the platform; you provide the content.
3. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us immediately at hello@countspace.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
One person may not maintain multiple free accounts to circumvent plan limits.
3.1 Free plan
Free accounts may create up to three custom countdowns. Shared public displays include the Countspace mark. Access to curated boards in Explore is included.
3.2 Pro plan
Pro accounts receive unlimited countdowns, multi-counter boards, unlimited counters per board, no Countspace mark on shared displays, custom branding, and board analytics. Pro is billed monthly ($7/month) or annually ($60/year).
3.3 Team plan
Team accounts extend Pro features to multiple users under a shared workspace. Pricing starts from $49/month for up to five users. Team plan availability is subject to launch.
4. Content you create
You own all content you create on Countspace. By saving or sharing content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and deliver it as part of the Service.
You agree not to use Countspace to create or share content that:
- is unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or fraudulent;
- infringes third-party intellectual property rights;
- contains malware, phishing links, or other harmful code;
- violates any applicable law or regulation.
5. Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the selected interval (monthly or annual).
You may cancel your subscription at any time from account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.
Refunds are available on a pro-rated basis within the first 14 days of a new subscription. Contact hello@countspace.app to request one. Renewals are non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice. We will endeavour to provide at least 30 days notice for material changes that affect paid features.
7. Intellectual property
The Countspace name, logo, design system, and original code are our intellectual property. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer them without written permission.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Countspace and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity. You may delete your account at any time from account settings — all boards and counters are permanently removed within 30 days.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Swedish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sweden, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your country of residence.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email and update the date below. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
